Below is the collection of the older articles originally published on our old website in a few months following the US invasion of Iraq in 2003. These articles reflects the reasons for the opposition to the war by the San Diego Veterans for Peace at the time when the majority of American public, deceived by its government, supported the war.
Now (2012) when the most Americans considers the war a major disaster of the US foreign policy, it is valuable to reexamine those arguments in order to question ourselves as to why we got led to support (or at least accept) the war as necessary. The war in Iraq is, perhaps, a history at last, but its consequences will haunt us for years to come.
